2 Month Photo and Checkup Stats

Here’s Scarlet’s 2 month comparison picture (shown next to the 1 month pic on the left):

We went to the Dr. today and here and she was so happy until right before she got her shots. I remember when we were in Children’s Mercy Hospital and she was practically a pincushion as they tried to get an IV in every limb before finally doing the head. She barely whimpered. Things have changed, as she definitely cried with today’s shots.

I brought up to the doctor that Scarlet has a strong preference for looking to the left. She has a condition called torticollis, due to how she was positioned in the womb (I’ve read it’s more common in large babies who run out of room).  Sounds like it is easy to fix with stretching and encouraging her to look to the right as much as possible. If this doesn’t resolve it we can also try chiropractic care or physical therapy.

Here are the stats:  Weight: 14 pounds (99th %ile)
Height: 24 1/3 (95th %ile)
