New! Initial Art

Well I’ve been making the baby name signs for years now and have them offered in my etsy store here. I’ve decided to branch out. While I think my name signs are a steal for original art, they are still more than some people want to spend on a baby gift. Therefore, I came up with the name initial to give people more options. Here’s the very first one I created for a fellow member of Reconciled who had baby Micah last month….I bought the frame and then did the artwork and discovered it didn’t fit. So I cut the butterflies with an Exacto and actually like how my little mistake turned out. From then on out, I’ve been more careful.

Here are 2 I created for my nieces while in Branson. Abbey picked out her colors and I think they turned out great….And Milan has a room with circus bedding in pinks and greens and yellow. I didn’t have just the right shades of markers with me, but Tracy approved these (they’re a little brighter than her room).

These are 5 x 7. I’ve decided to also offer them in 8 x 10 with the option of matted or unmatted (for those people who want to get fancy with their mat colors or buy a frame that has a mat already). I think these look great with the wider mat (as in the first example). If it were me framing one of these, I think I’d get one of those autograph frames they make for weddings and graduations. Visit my etsy store for more information or to purchase one for yourself.
